Luigi Russolo — painter, composer, builder of musical instruments, and first-hour member of the Italian Futurist movement — was a crucial figure in the evolution of twentieth-century aesthetics. In this way the motors and machines of our industrial cities will one day be consciously attuned, so that every factory will be transformed into russloo intoxicating orchestra of noises.
