Nothing less than the very fabric of the universe and two passionately entwined lives are at stake—as Cian and Jessi fight to claim the kind of love that comes along but once in an ice age But when a split-second decision saves her from a terrifying attempt on her life, Jessi suddenly finds herself confronting six and a half feet of smoldering, insatiable alpha male. Your house is quiet now, you’re sleeping upstairs and I’m alone with this blasted, idiotic book that purports to tally the sum of my life, and fact is, maybe I do.
That Old Black Magic. Only In My Dreams. Adam is being pursued by Darroc hmmm He is, by far. Oh, you do not know what that is?
It was funny, passionate, heartbreaking, heartwarming and loaded with testosterone!! That made me want to skim and I found tedious because I had just read those books right before.

And all he wants in exchange is the exquisite pleasure of sharing her bed. Black is no exception. Or just a good, hard.
This is where KMM, takes us on another wonderful trip of time travel, romance, magic and just flat out fun! This book was fabulous. I don’t think there was a single thing about this book that Ommortal didn’t love.
The Immortal Highlander | Karen Marie Moning
Enter a world of timeless seduction, of ancient intrigue and modern-day passion. Highly intelligent, lethally seductive Adam Black, a mischievous Fae at the mercy of a mortal. Her novels have been published in over thirty countries. Anyway, he’s an odd duck among the Fae since he actually likes the humans even while he thinks himself far superior than them and speaks in support of them on multiple occasions.
To make it worse she also curses him with the feth fiada which makes him invisible to mankind. I’m not exactly sure why I’ve been avoiding to write a review for this book. The romance between Adam and Gabrielle was palpable. Now, no matter how hard Gabby tries to avoid him, Adam is everywhere, invisible to all but her—perched atop her office cubicle in too-tight jeans, whispering softly from behind the stacks of the law library, stealing her breath away with his knowing smile…all the while tempting her with the promise of unimaginable pleasure in his arms.
Thus begins a long, dangerous seduction. Adam Black’s story gives me so much hope for V’lane!
That is, until a curse strips him of his immortality and makes him invisible, a cruel fate for so irresistible hihlander man. Immortal, arrogant, and intensly sensual, he is free to roam across time and continents in pursuit of his insatiable desires. The immortal Prince Faery Adam Black is punished by his, right now angry, mighty queen.
