The heroine, Alien I love this books. Once everyone knows who is who, it is very sweet to watch them fall in love and come together against their enemies. It’s odd, because there are a few supporting characters who are quite engaging.

Fans of humorous medieval romance with unlikely hero. As a story without the romance demarcation it mlment splendid. Alienore hasn’t h Making a man of your fiancee – well, that’s one way to woo!

Even parts of the plot which are key, like the training, are barely described. Like straight up out of the blue tells the heroine all the bad stuff she’s guilty of.

It was just what I have come to expect from Kurland. Admittedly, running away could only be a positive move as it would rfom her out from under Marie. Looking for kutland books? One of my momwnt of the series, mostly because Colin is so amusing in his single minded devotion to the art of combat.

But inside, he has a kind heart especially for anyone weaker than others. And to top it all off, its g-rated. There is also an issue of certain words being over-used; it starts to drag down the reading. Stardust of Yesterday de Piaget Family. Have no idea how it got there since, while the heroine was disguised as a boy and inadvertently began training as a knight with the hero, she had zero skills or interest in doing so.

Though its a strange romance, I really enjoyed many parts of this book. Customers who viewed this item also viewed. Alienore and Colin became quite endearing as they realized their feelings for each other-with some swaying going on for good measure. This story is rated T, no graphic sex, which doesn’t mean that the sex is all fade to black. And he was prepared to let a friend enter a marriage he clearly didn’t really want with a female who was absolutely terrified of him, just to protect this stranger’s secret identity.

The more time Alienore spends with Colin, the more she sees he is not as bad Alienore has a cruel stepmother.

When she finds herself as his knight in training, she’s pretty sure that she’s descended into hell. So the Butcher decides to take the poor girly young man under his wing and make a man out of him – teach him how to fight, ride, and curse.

Which only occurred about every few minutes. Not the heartbreakingly sweet book that its predecessor was, but a great book to read when you are in the mood for fun!

His father is now willing to forego a dowry if any noble family will but send their daughter to wed the Butcher. We were brought back into the world of the characters from Gillian and Christopher’s book, so it was nice to see all of them again.

A rollicking tale filled with laughter, romance and danger. Unfortunately for Alienore, soon that woman is engaged to Colin – and soon Alienore is in Colin’s household. Colin turns out to be a great hero, and makes a wonderful husband.

I plan on reading Jason of Artane’s novella next in Tapestry. All the things they didn’t say were obvious in their actions.

I laughed, a lot, and rooted for the those that were down And also like Christopher, it’s pretty obvious that the counterpoint to the rough dragon scales of his personality, is his soft underbelly. I was a bit worried when I heard of this book.

The story proper starts two years later, when Alienore is now known as ‘Sir Henri’ and has the pretty cushy job of frkm a knight-in-waiting to a nobleman’s daughter.
