Mau review panjang tapi takut spoiler. Plus, for adults, he released The City Trilogy originally under the name of D. El Tenebroso Cirque Du Freak.
I have been looking forward to reading this book for forever. The freak show concept turned me off. In addition to his children’s books he writes for adults as well and has had several adult books published including Procession of the Dead, Hell’s Horizon, and City of the Snakes.
The vamp talks about worry of an autopsy But that won’t kill him because it is only deadly when the spinal cords are severed, usually in the break.
Although it was never published, he found himself focusing more on novels than on short stories. This is a short gory book with a slightly new twist on the vampire mythos geared heavily towards male readers though I think girls won’t feel alienated at all and the inclusion of a “freak show” is something fascinating and I welcomed reading about a topic done to death heh that ended up still feeling unique.
It may deal with blood but its well worth it. I can’t wait to read the next one. I reccomend this book to anyone who likes reading, this book is a great start to a series I loved.
But the vamp describes how he is going to snap his neck. Finished it in one sitting. Cirque du Freak – Darren Teenbroso. This book didn’t scare me at all, but like I said, it was meant for children- young adult, although I have to say anyone who is over 13 wouldn’t consider this horror. This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers.
Not a whole lot of surprises, you can kind of see where things are heading early on, but the few surprises that are included are pretty big ones.
I feel bad for saying that. I definitely want to continue the series to see what happens to Darren, because this story is just getting started. Cirque Du Freak is really popular.
A Living Nightmare
I have to press the issue again regarding books that really not scary but they are considered as horror. Perhaps the only one left in modern day America.
This book one of the series does teenebroso only demonstrate the ordinary school boy with a normal life but extended beyond to vampirism and his break of friendship by misunderstandings. One – nothing was ever explained as to how the Tall Man knew so much about these boys when they first entered the show. However, this school year, tenebfoso of my students have been recommending books TO ME to read! Hunters of the Dusk. This is an epic.
The books are clearly geared towards younger audiences, especially with the main character being so young. A Living Nightmare is definitely written for a target audience of older children and younger teens. Have they changed the name or something cause I was sure it was called cirque du freak?
Title: El tenebroso cirque du freak
In fact, the repercussions of this choice actually made me cry. Also, some deadpan humor thrown in so it wasn’t completely gross and disgusting all the time. A little bit of creepy, a little bit of skulking around, and a lot of fun, quirky characters are introduced in the first novel. At first I read the introduction, and I was like, wow, this is real? So crque are all just supposed to believe that this kid is evil on the word of a vampire – who we are also just TOLD is not evil.
There was no dull moments in this book and I just could not put this one down. I cant say enough about these books. Other books in the series.

I just wanted to make that clear before I begun. He does not only create a story that reveals a story behind it. Well, this was a very interesting book.
