I recommend reading Wife By Wednesday first before reading this one. Not entirely clear why. I’m reading two other books in the series because I bought them with this one.

It was an okay read. Just a moment while we sign you in to your Goodreads account. His best chance of getting into office is to get married and play the family man.

I just couldn’t make myself turning the pages, once I passed the 50 per cent mark. The problem is Eliza has been in the wittiness protection program since she was 9 years old and her appearance with Carter puts her life in danger. It was very intriguing and I found myself skimming their sex scenes because I wanted to get further into the story to find out what happened.

Lo hizo ver bastante hdp, cuando en el fondo no lo era. Didn’t really care for this one. British aristocrats are not New York socialites.

Es una historia de dos personas muy distintas que se atraen e se lo niegan a si mismos, que por una serie se interesantes sucesos terminan casados. For some reason, the whole writing reminds me of Ms.

El pacto (Casaderas, #2) by Catherine Bybee (4 star ratings)

Feb 15, Laura V. Nope, just not good. However, that may be a personal issue, as I am not crazy over politicians, and Carter certainly was one. bbybee

Her books have been translated in over twenty languages. I didn’t read ANY of the long winded reviews on any of her books just for this reason alone.

I think the author writes well, which is important to me. Now, everyone likes a Twinkie now again, but this book is as easily consumed and passed on as a fluffy sponge cake. Thanks for telling us about the problem.

Gwen’s character was funny. However, the book was slow to start and seemed to repeat itself multiple times.

Dhara rated it did not like it May 09, Quotes from El pacto. I was too scared I would read something that would make me look for it in the boo Married by Monday is another winner in my “book”.

How many times was Eliza going to observe how “Carter’s gotten under e skin”? I have issues with this book though.

El pacto: : Catherine Bybee, Laura Rins Calahorra: Books

She kind of just threw herself into her brother’s life with Sam and invited herself into living with Eliza for no apparent reason. He was sitting pretty as a judge in his thirties. First of all, no one really cares about the extra information about a future governor, unless he wants to follow Schwarzenegger’s footsteps. After growing bored with cathrrine tables, she returned to school and became a registered nurse, spending most of her career in urban emergency rooms.

Oh well, guess this series ends here for me. I LOVE when the hero gets to put his alpha maleness to good use protecting his woman.
