But the good righteous deeds, that last, are better with your Lord for rewards and better in respect of hope. Yet all this i. Rather, it entails your being more certain in what Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala has in His Hands, than your are zudh what you have in your hand.
So rejoice in the bargain you have made with Him; that is the mighty triumph. And fear Allaah through Whom you demand your mutual [rights] and [do not cut the relations of] the wombs [kinship]. It is aaz fact that when a person is loved by his community, he or she will feel great happiness and joy. By this, I do not mean the outside form of his sunna, but its essence. Keep your duty to Allaah and fear Him, and speak [always] the truth.
Az-Zuhd resides in the heart, and it can be achieved by ridding the heart of the slave from the love and the eagerness for this life.
Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala then illustrates the briefness of this life by mentioning the rain when it comes down on the earth and thus the ground becomes green and lively with various plants and vegetation. And put forward to them the example of the life of this world, it is like the water rain zuhc We send down from the sky, and the vegetation of the earth mingles with it, and becomes fresh and green.
Avoiding the prohibitions, and this is the zuhd of the commoners.
Practising Az-Zuhd in the Dunya –
They do not turn to anything but to their King, and they do not desire anything but to look upon His compassionate face. But in the Hereafter there is a severe torment for the believers, evildoersand there is Forgiveness of Allah and His Good Pleasure for the believers, gooddoerswhereas the life of this world is only a deceiving enjoyment.
He will direct you to as righteous good deeds and will zkhd you your sins. This is the exact case with the life of this world.
Az Zuhd By Ibnul Qayyim Al Jawzeeyah
He was born in the year H CE and was raised in a house of knowledge and excellence, at a time when knowledge flourished. Yet, zugd married nine times. In order that you may not grieve at the things that you fail to get, nor rejoice over that which has been given to you. By all this I mean that he is the mercy, and even more than mercy because all of this is from the praise, which is Muhammad, may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him.
And more than that, for everything, give Him thanks only because He is there. There are many texts in the Qur’an and the Sunnah that encourage being a zahid in the dunya.
And whosoever obeys Allaah and His Messenger has indeed achieved a great success. However, one should not wish for disasters to hit. The surrender for them is that if He gives to them, they are thankful, and if He withholds from them, they are patient.
