A pretty boring read. As others have written, the first part of the book was I used xeveraux adore Jude Deveraux, in my teens and 20’s I grabbed anything she wrote and adored it. The action-packed plot engages the reader from the get-go as this entertaining tale unfolds. But for some reason, I really enjoyed carklina characters. But in the end, everything ceases in a lightning-quick motion, and it was all completely predictable—unlike the story’s main portion.
